What is the deadline for PhD applications?
The deadline is December 1st for an August admission of the following year.

Is the GRE or GMAT mandatory?
Yes. Taking the GRE or GMAT is mandatory for all applicants. Test scores from more than two years prior to an August admission date are not accepted.

Are there minimum required scores for the GRE or GMAT?
No. While we don't require minimum scores, the doctoral program is very competitive and our current students have generally scored above the 70th percentile on verbal and above the 80th percentile on the quantitative portion. That being said, each application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis regardless of the test scores.

Is the TOEFL or IELTS test required?
The TOEFL or IELTS test is mandatory for all international students. Test scores from more than two years prior to an August admission date are not accepted.

Are there minimum required scores for the TOEFL or IELTS?
Yes. For the TOEFL, we require a minimum internet-based score of 105 and for the IELTS a minimum score of 7.

Is this PhD program available online?
While some of the courses might be offered in a hybrid form, doctoral students are generally required to be on campus for coursework and research.

Is this PhD program full-time?
Yes. This is a strict full-time program and we are not able to accommodate part-time students.

How many applicants do you accept each year?
We generally accept between one and three applicants each year.

What kind of financial aid is available?
If admitted to our program, the students are supported by research or teaching assistantships. This means we provide up to 5 years of full funding, covering all tuition, fees, monthly stipend, and health insurance costs.
