How do I pay for the seminar?
You may register online or by phone. Payment is due with registration. Forms of payment accepted are credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, & UnionPay), Google Pay, and ACH transfers.
If you would like to pay by check, please consider using the ACH transfer option when registering.

When is payment due?
Payment in full, is due at registration.

When does registration close for a program?
Registration closes 2 business days before the start of the program.

If I cancel, will I be penalized?
- Cancellation fees may be waived if the participant registers and attends the same program within 12 months. Fees may only be waived once.
- Participants may send a substitute from the same organization for the same program and date by notifying Kristi White via email at least 5 calendar days in advance of program start date.
- Cancellation more than 30 calendar days before program start date: full refund.
- Cancellation 14 – 29 calendar days prior to program start date: 50% cancellation fee, remainder of program fee refunded.
- Cancellation 13 or fewer calendar days prior to program start date: no refund.
MSU reserves the right to cancel programs when enrollment criteria are not met or for conditions beyond its control. Any additional costs incurred by the enrollee of canceled programs are the responsibility of the enrollee.

If I cancel, will my name still be on the email list?
Yes, you will still receive communications specific to your area of interest.

How do I get my name removed from the email list?
A phone or email request will quickly remove you from our mailing list.

What is the dress code for your seminars?
Our goal is that you are comfortable, so our atmosphere is traditionally casual. Coats and ties are optional; business casual is the attire of choice for most participants.

I didn't get a confirmation email. How do I get one?
Please let us know if you did not receive a confirmation email; it may mean your registration did not reach us.

What if I cannot access the materials from the program's Google Drive?
For cybersecurity reasons, your IT department may limit the ability to access the materials from your workplace. Should that be the case, please try accessing them from your home network and/or using your personal email address.

How do I know when I am due to recertify?
To maintain your CHRS, CWCP, CLRL, and/or CFMLS certifications, you must engage in 28 hours of continuing education every 2 years. Your certificate will indicate when your certification expires.
All certifications are good through December 31 of the year in which they expire.
You can always check the date of your certification/recertification by logging into your account on our registration system.

My name has changed; can I get a revised certificate with my new name?
Yes! Revised certificates are available for a fee of $40.

I have lost my certificate, can I get a duplicate?
Yes! Replacement certificates are available for a fee of $40.

Can I have a program pre-approved for recertification?
While it is not necessary to have a program pre-approved, we are happy to do so. There is a pre-approval fee of $25 per program for per-approval requests.

How do I know how many recertification credits a program will earn?
To determine the number of credits a program will earn, simply count the number of instructional hours. Do not count meals, breaks, vendor exhibit hours, and other non-instructional activities.
We are happy to evaluate the number of credits a program will earn. There is a credit evaluation fee of $25 per program.
