How you communicate at work either helps you work collaboratively and productively or has you spending valuable time fixing miscommunications and resolving conflicts. Workplace communication can also make the difference between enjoying your workday or feeling frustrated time and time again.
In this program you will learn specific communication strategies that have been proven to minimize conflict, increase productivity, improve job satisfaction, and facilitate success. Complete all four virtual sessions to earn your certification.
CSWS Session I - Foundations of Effective Communication
Effectively communicating at work requires specific skills. Even the best communicator at home can find it difficult to connect with all of the different personalities we encounter at work. In Session I, you will learn foundational communication strategies designed to give you the calm confidence needed to handle any workplace interaction.
CSWS Session II - Influence: The Key to Getting Things Done
You have the skills, now it's time to use your new communication strategies to increase your influence, and level up your own and others productivity to get things done. Knowledge becomes action in this session!
CSWS Session III - Managing Workplace Conflict
If you work with people, you can count on there being conflict. How often this happens and how you respond is the key. This session will teach you the specifics of avoiding and responding to workplace conflict. You can apply these practical new skills immediately and experience the difference.
The ability to give and receive feedback is one of the most important skills communicators can have in their success toolbox. In this session you will learn how to share feedback in a way that increases productivity and job satisfaction.
For your convenience, participants can register for individual sessions or register for the certificate and attend all four sessions.
To earn your certificate, participants must attend all four Communication Strategies for Workplace Success sessions and pass a final exam.
