Dr. Tapia's keynote address, "Worker Precarity, Power, and Resistance: Evidence from Amazon and Beyond", explored her research on the conditions faced by Amazon warehouse workers and addressed the broader challenges surrounding low-wage work and worker precarity in the contemporary labor market. Dr. Tapia emphasized the consolidation of employer power and the increasing use of surveillance and productivity technologies.

The conference took place at the Industrial Relations in Europe Conference (IREC) in Luxembourg on September 16-18 and was organized by Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER).
