With only 5% of the World’s population, we in the United States consume over 80% of all prescription opioids. Last year alone, over 2.4 million Americans were addicted to opioids, and over 62,000 people died of drug overdoses.

Our team of attorneys, physicians, and HR professionals will provide those who attend with in-depth understanding of the pharmacology of opioids that is necessary in order to develop claim management strategies, including addiction and withdrawal therapies. The program will include a "hot topics" section where we will help attendees develop effective strategies to deal with the ADA, FMLA, and HIPAA issues that arise in this context. We will also provide attendees with an in-depth national overview of recent legislation, and case law in this area.
