    Friday, February 11, 2021 // 1:00pm - 3:00pm ET via Zoom
The Coronavirus has caused many organizations to reshape how they function. For many, working remotely has become the "new normal". But this change comes with a set of legal implications that need to be considered. This session will cover some of the issues facing organizations, including HR policies and procedures, the hiring process and onboarding.

Specific issues that will be addressed include:

    • Determining the work environment, particularly important when accidents or injuries occur
    • Calculating hours of work for non-exempt (hourly) employees
    • Non-discrimination, including accommodations for people with disabilities

  • Virtual Interviewing & Selection

Conducting effective hiring interviews virtually takes planning.
