Employment relations in the construction industry is our specialty.

Our driving purpose is to help improve employer-employee relationships and construction industry systems; ones that optimize both opportunities for contractors to achieve competitive advantage and opportunities for employees to enjoy rewarding work. With this fundamental purpose in mind, our faculty and staff are dedicated to providing the best in research, education, and development.

Our strength is multiplied by the 80+ MSU faculty that conduct research and education for the construction industry. Areas of expertise span all areas of the construction industry: pavement studies, lean construction, CAD design, resistance of structural systems, integrated project delivery, LEED/green building, work zone safety, highway engineering, trenchless technology, pipeline installations, urban planning, etc.
