Aarean Wooten

My name is Aarean Wooten and I am from Twinsburg, Ohio. I am a double Spartan, having graduated from Michigan State in Spring 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I have accepted an internship with Royal Dutch Shell and will be working in New Orleans this summer. As President of the HRLR Graduate Student Association I am excited to grow our student-led culture and create a space for HRLR students to maximize their time in the program!

Hello, my name is Sean Roberts and I am a first-year student in the MHRLR program here at Michigan State University. I also attended MSU for my undergraduate degree, receiving a bachelor's degree in Psychology. As Vice President of GSA my main goal is to support and assist incoming students by organizing the peer mentoring program.

Jerome Gervais

Hi! My name is Jerome Gervais, and I grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2016 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Business. I am currently a first-year student in the MHRLR program here at Michigan State, and this summer I will be interning with the International Paper Company in Augusta, Georgia. As Communications Coordinator, I plan to provide our student body with information and updates about GSA events, as well as providing a way for students to voice any issues or concerns that they have.

My name is Brianna Krus, but most people call me Bri. I grew up in West Bloomfield, Michigan and recently graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Human Resources Management with an Economics minor. I am currently a first-year student in the MHRLR program, and have accepted an internship at the Ford Motor Company for the summer. I am thrilled to have received the GSA Events Coordinator position because the student driven culture of this program is what truly makes it unique. I am eager to be able to add to each and every student's experience this upcoming year!

Matt Cambridge

My name is Matt Cambridge and I grew up in the Ann Arbor area. I studied Psychology at Calvin College, and have just returned from teaching English in Budapest, Hungary for 2 years. I am a first-year student in the HRLR program and it has been an incredible experience so far. Next summer I will be an intern for Boeing in St. Louis. I am looking forward to working as the Financial Officer to help this organization serve our students this upcoming year!

 

Diversity & Inclusion Officer - Sonam Sethi

Sonam Sethi

Hi! My name is Sonam Sethi and I am originally from Rochester Hills, MI. I graduated from Michigan State University in 2015 from the Lyman Briggs College with a degree in History, Philosophy, & Sociology of Science. I took a gap year before I began the program where I had the opportunity to do internships in Houston and St. Joseph, MI, as well as travel across Europe and truly immerse myself in the different cultures there. I am currently a first-year student in the program and I will be interning this summer at General Electric in San Ramon, CA. I am excited to be the GSA Diversity & Inclusion Officer for the upcoming school year and further promoting an inclusive culture that has already been instilled within the HRLR community! GO GREEN!

Melissa Rodriguez

Hi there! My name is Melissa Rodriguez, and I grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico as well as Canton, MI. I graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Human Resource Management just this past Spring 2016. I am in my second semester as a student in the MHRLR program here at MSU. During my undergrad, I was fortunate to be able to intern at Speedway LLC and Dow Chemical Co.; I also enjoyed being an Intercultural Aide and leading MRULE roundtable discussions! I am so excited to be your new Outreach and External Affairs Officer and work to connect us with the greater Lansing community, as well as take on some larger initiatives.
