Instructor

Ed Welch is a Professor Emeritus of the School of Human Resource and Labor Relations at Michigan State University. He was a faculty member there from 1991 to 2008 and established a Workers' Compensation Center that specialized in the education of workers' compensation professionals. From 1985 to 1990 he was the Director of the Michigan workers' compensation agency. He practiced law from 1969 to 1985. He was a high school teacher before going to law school. He received a JD, MA and BA from the University of Michigan.
